Took me a while to figure out: this is a beauty contest for dogs.
Kathleen Parker says Democrats are pushing the minimum wage increase in a “desperate” effort to boost turnout at the midterm elections, whereas the proposal stands no chance of passing Congress.
As a policy of The William Tell Show, I’m more interested in an issue’s substance than in who will win.
The minimum wage increase may not be a good idea, but relates to numerous issues of personal concern to me.

Henry Vincent was a burglar. An elderly man whose house he broke into, killed him. The funeral is somehow estimated to have cost £100,000.
The funeral procession became an “uprising.” The police were ready. They had had intelligence about it. This was planned.
Vincent was a Traveler. More about them shortly. If you Google “Henry Vincent traveler,” you’ll come up with a lot about him. He and accomplices were predatory.

“Every thought is a prayer.” To the end of making good use of the four hours or so every day we’re compelled to be idle at the shelter; and of speeding the day when I’ll find my own place; I’ve taken to daydreaming intentionally about things I’d like to do in my own place. Some of those, I mean to share here, as doing so involves giving more time to those dreams. Many involve cooking foods I like that we never get at the shelter. Friday 06/01/12 we were working on the assembly line, and the music they had on the PA was WQSR 102.7 “Jack.” I didn’t mind; it was an interesting change of pace.
At mid-afternoon this one song came on that made me feel tense. What song, I don’t recall and it doesn’t matter. The music made me feel tense. That’s what this post is all about.
The earlier post entitled “Change your diet” was all about words. One needs also to be aware of the feelings and attitudes music itself brings out in you, and choose accordingly.
