Three clips from the WBFF Fox 45 newscast of 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 1:
“What did I do?”
Stereotypes.
I was strongly tempted to call out, “It’s cold in those bullpens![*] They’ll bring you a bag lunch.”

Rep. Steve King’s campaign ties Parkland’s Emma González to ‘communist’ Cuba
I’m not about to engage in a personal attack on Steve King, either, although it wouldn’t be hard to do so.
While King is not by any means the only offender mentioned in the article, he and others here violate two of the guidelines of Free Speech Handbook, and so engage in conduct that I will discourage on The William Tell Show:
1. Judge the thought, not the thinker.
The issue here is gun control, specifically I would say the prospect of banning AR-15s and any other “assault rifle.” Gonzales herself is not the issue. Cuba is not the issue.

Some years ago, I was home on vacation (that is, visiting my mother out-of-state) and saw this item in the newspaper. In Detroit, this fellow was resisting arrest and the struggle got really mean, and he wound up sustaining injuries from which he died.
On the one hand, OK, too bad, it happens.
On the other hand, I had to wonder what other end this gentleman could have met; his mother having named him “Malice Green.”
Did either of his parents ever bother to consider what that name means?
Give your child a sensible name!
If your parents failed to do so, you may want to give yourself a sensible name.
We have a page devoted to this issue (here).
