… is rare on this blog.
Read the comments. What astonishes me is, post-Helsinki, Trumpers’ headlong rush to approve of anything Russia does.
A FB post by my alter ego, Timothy Wright:
So much futile drama.
Henry Vincent was a burglar. An elderly man whose house he broke into, killed him. The funeral is somehow estimated to have cost £100,000.
The funeral procession became an “uprising.” The police were ready. They had had intelligence about it. This was planned.
Vincent was a Traveler. More about them shortly. If you Google “Henry Vincent traveler,” you’ll come up with a lot about him. He and accomplices were predatory.
I suspect the film At Close Range deals with Travelers. It proves to be a true story, and very sad and grim. Continue reading The Travelers

This came up in Yahoo!’s “Trending Now,” and the search results included pages at newsmax.com and examiner.com. I had to search a bit to find an article at a REPUTABLE site. For everyone’s information, in general henceforth I will avoid clicking anything leading to newsmax OR examiner: the former is disreputable, and the latter generates too many ads … too many for me to cause y’all to have to deal with.
The new law, in short, seems to me to be good for everyone (read: humanity), and IMO though it’ll cost ’em money, Missouri has no reason to cluck.

09/25/17: The most clear-cut case ever of North Korea’s decades-old practice of (a) accusing the U.S. of some provocation that never happened, as (b) pretext for escalating their own belligerence.
10/11/17: North Korea appears now to have backed down from that stand. They appear merely to have completely misconstrued a Trump tweet. Other reports have indicated they find Trump’s tweets totally baffling and are energetically seeking help to make sense of them.
Which may make them no different from any of the rest of us.
(1) He’s in for, in the words of the Led Zepplin classic, a “whole lotta love.”
(2) The AP seriously misstates the situation, in saying this scandal may have destroyed Hilary’s candidacy. It did no such thing. For the first time ever, I am left to wonder how much such baseless assertions in the media affect our thinking.
Stereotypes have basis in fact.
“Compared with noncannabis users, the daily use of high-potency, skunk-like cannabis is associated with a fivefold increase in the odds of someone developing psychosis.”
That’s the form of pot I smell most often, in the places where I go.
